Morning Time – Rise and Shine!
Start the day by washing your face with your prescribed Cleanser to remove all the impurities, oil and other external agents that your skin endures. Our Cleansers are soap free and contain advanced antioxidants and botanicals to keep your skin smooth and hydrated.
If you are using one of our Benzoyl Peroxide Cleansers, your skin might experience some tightness and dryness, so make sure to apply your nourishing moisturizer as often as needed. If dryness persists, you may limit use to once every other day, and resume regular use once the dryness resolves.
If you have dry skin, are aged 55+, it’s winter time, or you just want some extra moisture, please apply a thin layer of your prescribed moisturizer before applying your sunscreen, to aid your skin’s hydrating function.
Next, apply your prescribed sunscreen, making sure to use a thin layer so it goes on sheer. If getting direct sun exposure, please reapply every 2 hours. Our sunscreens are mineral based and contain the right vitamins and antioxidants to support anti-aging functions, and have hydrating agents to act as a daily moisturizer as well.
Night Time – Time to Recharge!
If you are not experiencing tightness or dryness, you may also wash your face in the evenings to get your skin ready to be revitalized and nourished. Always be mindful of the level of moisture in your skin; one step beyond dry is irritation, which we always want to avoid. If you are using a Benzoyl Peroxide wash, please limit use to once a day.
Before going to bed, apply your prescribed Retinol and let it work for you all night – you have one of the most advanced and potent all-trans retinols on the market, designed to tackle fine lines, wrinkles, and even out your skin tone, while providing added antioxidants and soothing agents that make it adequate for even the most sensitive skin types.
If you are new to retinol, start by applying it 2x per week for two weeks, if dryness, peeling or redness don’t occur, slowly increase frequency to 3x-4x per week over time, until you can finally start using it every night.
Layer your prescribed Moisturizer on top of your retinol; your skin loses water during your sleep, and your retinol tends to dry your skin a bit, so it needs this additional boost of hydration and nutrients to wake up refreshed. Your moisturizer is like a super-food for your skin, so go ahead and pamper it a bit.
Users with specific skin needs or conditions usually get an enhancer to take their skin to the next level. Each enhancer serves a specific purpose and has its own way of fitting into the routine.

NOTE: If you suffer from a severe form of acne or rosacea, we recommend seeing a dermatology provider to best help your skin. Our regimens will help, but they won’t correct these difficult conditions.
